Exemption Code

Choose the type of exemption from the pop-up menu. This exemption is a request from a parent/guardian, LEA or special education local plan area to a forego section of the California Education Code.

Valid values:

• 1 – CAHSEE Math Waiver

• 2 – CAHSEE ELA Waiver

• 3 – CAHSEE Exemption

Required for CALPADS

State Business Rules:

If the exception code is 1, 2, or 3, then the student must have a 144 or 101 program record.

Choose the outcome of the request for an exemption from the pop-up menu.

Valid values:

• 1 – Granted

• 2 – Denied
