CE Hourly Attendance
The Continuation Education (CE) Hourly Attendance report is a school-level, week-by-week detail of attendance and apportionment for Continuation Education students. The report provides detailed hourly attendance and apportionment information to supplement the CE Monthly Attendance report. The report includes an audit trail of the present, excused, unexcused, and absent hours for each continuing education student. The audit trail is broken down into weekly intervals.
If you are on PS version 23.1 or higher and LTK Pref is enabled, when you run the reports with the selected school year 23-24 or higher, the mapped LTK grade values will be displayed.

Hours Excused Hours Unexc Hours Susp | The total number of hours or intervals that the student was assigned an Excused, Unexcused, or Suspended attendance code. The report identifies the attendance records as Excused, Unexcused, or Suspended using the following criteria:

Max Hours | The maximum number of hours allowed to be claimed for the week for the student. This value is calculated by multiplying the Target Hours per Day in Week by the number of in-session days in the week that the student was enrolled and subtracting out suspension days. If the student is suspended for a partial day, suspension time is subtracted only if the student was marked as present or absent (other than suspension) for less than the Target Hours per Day prior to being suspended. | [Prefs]Value [Prefs]Name=ATT_BackfillTargetHrs [Prefs]Name=BackfillWExpHours [Calendar_Day]InSession [Agg_Attendance]Agg_Calc_Type=Apportionable M |

Attendance hours are identified as work experience by selecting Work Experience for the time attendance records on the student’s attendance page. Work hours are included in apportionment if the student meets a minimum of four non-work and/or course hours for the week. If this minimum is not met, then work hours are excluded. | [Agg_Attendance]Att_Minutes [Agg_Attendance]Agg_Calc_Type=BaselineWrkHrs |

The purpose of apportionment is to claim the maximum number of attendance hours per student per week. If a student attends fewer than the maximum hours in week one and more than the maximum hours in week two, the excess hours will be apportioned, or distributed, from week two to week one. The state specifies the number of days eligible for apportionment. Work hours are counted if the student meets the minimum of at least four non-work and/or course hours for each week. If the student does not meet this minimum, then work hours are excluded. | N/A |
