CA Scholarship Federation Point Equivalents

The grades awarded for CA Scholarship Federation (CSF) courses are associated with the following point values, based on the credit awarded for a semester course.

Extra Points: One additional point is added for honors/AP/IB courses awarded a grade of A or B, up to two points per semester. The CSF report considers a course to be honors if (14) Honors – UC Certified or (15) Honors – Non UC Certified is selected for the Instructional Level Code field associated with the course or section. Note that the section setting overrides the course setting.

Note: College courses are those courses that a student has completed at a college offsite and are not awarded extra points. The report considers a course to be college level if (16) College is selected for the Instructional Level Code field at the course or section level. Note that the section setting overrides the course setting.
