Introduction


This report extracts college and career readiness data and information including GPA, Testing and other pertinent fields for students in grade 9-12. This report is due on of the year

Selection Criteria

Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. Refer to selection criteria for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.

Student Selection

The report selects records based on the following criteria:

  • Student must not be excluded from state reporting
  • Student must be in grade 9, 10, 11, or 12

School Selection

The report selects records based on the following criteria:

  • Student's school must not be excluded from state reporting

Description

Schools to Include

Choose one of the following:

  • Current School Only – Includes all student records associated with the current school that meet selection criteria. To change the current school, click the School link at the top of the page and choose the appropriate school from the list.
  • All Schools – Includes all student records on the PowerSchool server that meet selection criteria.
The All Schools option is only available when running the report from the District Office.

Current Selection Students

Indicate which students to include in the report by selecting one of the following options:

  • Selected [number] students only – Run the report for students in the current selection.
  • All students – Run the report for all students in the current school or district that meet the selection criteria.

If running the report for a single student, or group of students, select the students prior to running the report.
RCDTS Number (Override)

To generate the report for a specific RCDTS school, enter the school's 15-digit RCDTS (Region, Country, District, Type, and School) number.

Report Start Date

Enter the start date for the reporting period.

Report End Date

Enter the end date for the reporting period.

GPA Method used to report GPASelect the GPA method used for calculating and reporting the students' GPAs.

Each of the fields displayed in the output of the report are described below. See Understanding the Report Output Table for a definition of each column in the table.

7School YearThe ending year of the student's current active enrollment. For example, if the student is active in the 2019-20 school year, 2020 is reported.Derived from student's current year active enrollment.4

  • 00 = No GPA for the student
  • 01 = Student's GPA is 3.75 and above
  • 02 = Student's GPA is 2.8 – 3.74

10One Academic Indicator ELA

Indicates whether the student has either an ELA Advanced (AP) Exam score of 3 or higher, or an International Baccalaureate (IB) Exam score of 4 or higher.

Indicates whether the student has either a Math AP Exam score of 3 or higher, or an IB Exam score of 4 or higher.

14Career Development Experience

Indicates whether the student is involved in a supervised work experience relating to their career area of interest that meet all of the following criteria:

  • Occurs in a workplace or under other authentic working conditions;
  • Is co-developed by an education provider and at least one employer in the relevant field;
  • Provides compensation or educational credit to the participant;
  • Reinforces foundational professional skills including, at a minimum,those outlined in the Illinois Essential Employability Skills framework https://icsps.illinoisstate.edu/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/Essential-Handout-2.pdf
  • Includes a Professional Skills Assessment that assesses skill development and is used as a participant feedback tool
  • Takes place for a minimum of 60 total hours.

15Industry Credential

Indicates the work-related industry credential that meets all of the following criteria:

  • Verifies an individual’s qualifications or competence in a specific skillset related to a particular industry or occupation;
  • Is issued by an industry-related organization or state licensing body with the relevant authority to issue such credentials
  • Is broadly sought or accepted by employers as a recognized, preferred, or required credential for recruitment, screening, hiring, retention, or advancement purpose.

16Military Service or an ASVAB Score of 31 or Higher

Indicates whether the student made a commitment to serve in the armed services and met one of the following criteria:

  • Received an Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) score of 31 or higher, or
  • Is 17 years old, has enlisted with permission from a parent or guardian, attended Basic Combat Training before Senior year, trained one weekend per month through Senior year with a local unit, and has planned attendance for Advanced Individual Training after Senior year, or
  • Participated in Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps

17Attaining and Maintaining Consistent Employment for a Minimum of 12 Months

Indicates whether the student has been employed continuously for at least 12 months and the employment can be verified through pay stubs, timesheets, or a signed letter from an adult supervisor that includes the number of hours worked.

18Consecutive Summer Employment

Indicates whether the student has been employed for two consecutive summers and the employment can be verified through pay stubs, timesheets, or a signed letter from an adult supervisor that includes the number of hours worked.

20Two or More Organized Co-curricular Activities

Indicates whether the student participated in an activity, program, or learning experience that:

  • Is connected to or mirrors an academic curriculum for which the student did not receive credit, and
  • Takes place outside or school or after regular school hours and may be operated by outside organizations, and
  • Instills adaptive competencies and/or Illinois Essential Employability Skills, including personal and work ethics, teamwork, and communication.
