IL Accommodation Report

Use the IL Accommodation report to submit student Accommodation data defined for ELA/L, Math and Scienceence to Pearson Assessment.

Before running the report, review Student Setup and confirm that all required student information has been entered. 

Selection Criteria

Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. Refer to this selection criteria section for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.

School Selection

The report selects which school records to use based on the following criteria:

  • The school must be associated with a student included in the report.

  • The school must not be excluded from state reporting.

Student Selection

The report selects which student records to use based on the following criteria:

  • The student is not excluded from State Reporting.

  • The Student has a Test Code for Scienceence and/orMath and/or ELA entered on the Accommodation Information tab.

  • The student is actively enrolled on the Report Snapshot Date.

  • The student does not have an Exit Date before an Entry Date.

Test Code Selection

The report selects which test records to extract based on the run-time parameter selection for Report Mode:

  • If “ALL” is selected as the Report Mode, the student must have a non-blank value for either the ELA or the Math or the Scienceence Test Code element.  If the student has a value for all tests, three records are extracted in the file.

  • If “ELA” is selected as the Report Mode, the student must have a non-blank value for the ELA Test Code element.

  • If “Math” is selected as the Report Mode, the student must have a non-blank value for the Math Test Code element.

  • If “Scienceence” is selected as the Report Mode, the student must have a non-blank value for the Scienceence Test Code element.

Description

Schools to Include

If run at the district level, choose one of the following:

  • Select Multiple Schools – Select schools to include in the report. To select a single school, click that school. To select multiple schools, use Ctrl+Click and select each school to be included.

  • All Schools – Run the report for the entire district.

If run at the school level, the report includes all records associated with the current school that meet the selection criteria. To change the current school, click School at the top of the page and choose the appropriate school from the list.

Current Selection Students

Indicate which students to include in the report by selecting one of the following options:

  • The selected [number] students only – Run the report for students in the current selection.

  • All students – Run the report for all students in the current school or district that meet the selection criteria.

Note: If running the report for a single student, or group of students, select the students prior to running the report.

Include Only Grades 3-8

The default is Yes. To include students in all grades, choose No.

RCDTS Number (Override)

If the RCDTS number to extract is different from the PowerSchool District Number, enter the 15 digit RCDTS number to be used as an override.

Note: Enter a value here only if you want to override the default value.

Snapshot Date

Enter the snapshot date.

Report Mode

Select Both, Math, or ELA.

  • All: To be included in the report, the student must have a value for either the ELA Test Code, the Math Test Code and/or Scienceence Test Code element. If the student has a value for all tests records are extracted.

  • Math: To be included in the report, the student must have a value for the Math Test Code element.

  • ELA: To be included in the report, the student must have a value for the ELA Test Code element.

  • Science: To be included in the report, the student must have a value for the Science Test Code element.

Emergency Accommodation

An emergency accommodation may be appropriate for a student who incurs a temporary disabling condition that interferes with test performance shortly before or
during the assessment window. A student who does not have an IEP, ISP, or 504 plan may require an accommodation as a result of a recently-occurring accident or illness.
