Work with Concurrent PDA Student Information

Navigation: Transfer Info > [Current] / [Previous] Enrollment > click Entry Date/Code date link > New/Edit Concurrent Enrollment > New/Edit Additional Concurrent PDA
or Functions > Re-Enroll New Student

Use Concurrent PDA (formerly FTE) enrollments for students who attend classes at their home school, where one or more of those classes are offered by a different serving school (still taught at the home school). For example, you would create a Concurrent PDA record to track a student who is enrolled in a special program, such as a CTE course offered by another serving school within their RCDTS Home School.

Concurrent PDA enrollment is different than concurrent enrollment; with a concurrent enrollment, the student is enrolled in more than one school, while a Concurrent PDA enrollment is like a "sub-enrollment" where students who attend classes at their home school are also enrolled in classes offered by a different serving school but still taught at their home school.

If there is a change in the PDA (formerly FTE) allocation or a change to the RCDTS Serving School, update the Concurrent PDA enrollment records accordingly. Since ISBE requires an Exiting Student and accompanying Demographics and Enrollment (re-entry) record to be submitted whether or not there has been a change to the PDA or Serving school, for accurate reporting results ensure the Concurrent PDA enrollment start and end dates are the same as the entry and exit dates of the main enrollment. This date alignment ensures the PDA value is always correct, regardless of whether a Concurrent PDA enrollment is active.
