IL Adjusted Cohort Graduation Rate Report



This only applies to those students who are enrolled in grades 9-12 only. The due date of this report of End of Year.

The IL Adjusted Cohort Graduation Rate report lists students who are active in prior school years and the year they first entered ninth grade.

Schools to Include

Choose one of the following:

  • Current School Only – Includes all student records associated with the current school that meet selection criteria. To change the current school, click the School link at the top of the page and choose the appropriate school from the list.
  • All Schools – Includes all student records on the PowerSchool server that meet selection criteria.

Note: The All Schools option is only available when running the report from the District Office.

Current Selection Students

Indicate which students to include in the report by selecting one of the following options:

  • The Selected [Number] Students Only – Run the report for students in the current selection.
  • All students – Run the report for all students in the current school or district that meet the selection criteria.

Note: If running the report for a single student, or group of students, select the students prior to runningreport.

RCDTS Number (Override)

Enter the 15-digit RCDTS (Region, Country, District, Type, and School) number.

The value entered in this field will be used in the file name and the header in the report results.

Report Start Date

Enter the start date for the reporting period.

Format: MM/DD/YYYY

Report End Date

Enter the end date for the reporting period.

Format: MM/DD/YYYY

Grade LevelSelect the grade level(s) using Ctrl+Click or Shift+Click to run the report for students in a particular grade level. To run the report for all grade levels, leave blank.

Run from the Extract Viewer

Choose one of the following from the pop-up menu:

  • Yes – This processes the extract from the extract viewer records rather than from the PowerSchool database. The extract viewer contains records from the last time the report was run.
  • No – Select No when running any extract for the first time or to run the report from the PowerSchool database.

Note: If you select No, the data in the extract viewer is replaced with the data from the report currently being run.

Report Output

Each of the fields displayed in the output of the report is described below. See Understanding the Report Output Table for a definition of each column in the table.

6RCDTS for Current Home School

The RCDTS number that identifies the student’s current home school. If the RCDTS Home School is blank for a student, the RCDTS Home School defined in the Edit School page is extracted.



7RCDTS for Serving School

The RCDTS number that identifies the school that provides service to the student. If the RCDTS Serving School is blank for a student, the RCDTS Home School entered on the Edit School page is used in the report.

81st Year in 9th GradeThe student's first year in ninth grade. If the student was enrolled in the school in ninth grade, the report calculates the year the student was in ninth grade and outputs that value. If the student was enrolled in the school in tenth grade or later, the report displays the value entered in the First Year in Ninth Grade override field.




9Enrollment Exit Type

The student's reason for exiting the school.
