IL PAN Pre-ID Report

Contents

Introduction

Use the IL PAN Pre-ID report to submit PARCC Pre-ID data directly to Pearson Assessment after the IL DOE's  PARCC submission window has closed.

Before running the report, review Student Setup and confirm that all required student information has been entered.

Selection Criteria

Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. Refer to this selection criteria section for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.

School Selection

The report selects which school records to use based on the following criteria:

  • The school must be associated with a student included in the report.
  • The school must not be excluded from state reporting.

Student Selection

The report selects which student records to use based on the following criteria:

  • The student is not excluded from State Reporting.
  • The Student has a PARCC Test Code for Math and/or ELA entered on the IAR Information tab.
  • The student is actively enrolled on the Report Snapshot Date.
  • The student does not have an Exit Date before an Entry Date.

PARCC Test Code Selection

The report selects which test records to extract based on the run-time parameter selection for Report Mode:

  • If “Both” is selected as the Report Mode, the student must have a non-blank value for either the ELA or the Math Test Code element.  If the student has a value for both tests, two records are extracted in the file.
  • If “ELA” is selected as the Report Mode, the student must have a non-blank value for the ELA Test Code element.
  • If “Math” is selected as the Report Mode, the student must have a non-blank value for the Math Test Code element.

Report Input

For help with navigation and running the report, see How to Find and Generate a Report.

Indicate which students to include in the report by selecting one of the following options:

  • The selected [number] students only – Run the report for students in the current selection.
  • All students – Run the report for all students in the current school or district that meet the selection criteria.

Note: If running the report for a single student, or group of students, select the students prior to running the report.

Include Only Grades 3-8

The default is Yes. To include students in all grades, choose No.

RCDTS Number (Override)

If the RCDTS number to extract is different from the PowerSchool District Number, enter the 15 digit RCDTS number to be used as an override.

Note: Enter a value here only if you want to override the default value.

Snapshot Date

Enter the snapshot date.

Report Mode

Select Both, Math, or ELA.

  • All: To be included in the report, the student must have a value for either the ELA Test Code, the Math Test Code and/or Science Test Code element. If the student has a value for all tests records are extracted.
