Introduction

Use this report to generate the PSAT files for students in grades 9 and 10, and to generate the SAT files for students in grades 11 and 12.

Selection Criteria

School Selection

The report selects which school records to use based on the following criteria:

The school must be associated with a student included in the report.
The school must not be excluded from state reporting.

Student Selection

The report selects which student records to use based on the following criteria:

The student must not be excluded from state reporting.
The enrollment for the student must not be excluded from state reporting.
The student must not have the DLM-AA checkbox selected.
The student must be active on the report Snapshot Date.
The student must not have an exit date before an entry date.
The student's enrollment must be for a school not excluded from state reporting.

Field	Description
Schools to Include	If run at the district level, choose one of the following: Select Multiple Schools – Select schools to include in the report. To select a single school, click that school. To select multiple schools, use Ctrl+Click and select each school to be included. All Schools – Run the report for the entire district. If run at the school level, the report includes all records associated with the current school that meet the selection criteria. To change the current school, click School at the top of the page and choose the appropriate school from the list.
Current Selection Students	Indicate which students to include in the report by selecting one of the following options: The selected [number] students only – Run the report for students in the current selection. All students – Run the report for all students in the current school or district that meet the selection criteria. Note: If you are running the report for a single student, or group of students, select the students prior to runningreport.
Test Option	Select an option from the pop-up menu. SAT for Grades 11 and 12 PSAT 10 and PSAT 8/9 for grades 9 and 10 Both
Sort Group (Optional)	Enter the specific SAT Pre-ID Sort Group or leave blank to run for all.
RCDTS Number (Override)	Enter the 15-digit RCDTS (Region, Country, District, Type, and School) number. The value entered in this field will be used in the file name and the header in the report results.
Snapshot Date	Select the date frompop-upmenu.

Report Output

Each of the fields displayed in the output of the report is described below. See Understanding the Report Output Table for a definition of each column in the table.

6	Enrollment RCDTS for Home School (Information from Demo/Enrollment file)	Enter the RCDTS number that identifies the student’s homeschool. 7	Enrollment RCDTS for Serving School (Information from Demo/Enrollment file)	This field contains the RCDTS number that identifies the school that provides service to the student. 8	Assessment RCDTS for Testing School	This field contains the region, county, district, type, and school/program code that uniquely identifies the school/program where a student will be taking a state assessment during the current school year.
