IL IAR Pre-ID Report

Contents

Introduction

Use this report to generate the student registration file for the Illinois IAR Pre-ID Submission.

Selection Criteria

Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. Review State Reporting Setup and confirm that all required student information has been entered.  Refer to the selection criteria for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.

For the IAR Pre-ID report, student enrollment records are selected.

School Selection

The report selects which school records to use based on the following criteria:

  • The school must be associated with a student included in the report.
  • The school must not be excluded from state reporting.

Student Selection

The report selects which student records to use based on the following criteria:

  • The student is not excluded from State Reporting.
  • The student is actively enrolled on the Report Snapshot Date.
  • The student does not have an Exit Date before an Entry Date.

IAR Test Code Selection

The report selects which test records to extract based on the run time parameter selection for Report Mode:

  • If “Both” is selected as the Report Mode, the student must have a value for either the ELA or the Math Test Code element. If the student has a value for both tests, two records are extracted in the file.
  • If “ELA” is selected as the Report Mode, the student must have a value for the ELA Test Code element.

If “Math” is selected as the Report Mode, the student must have a value for the Math Test Code element.
