IL Birth to 3 Report

Introduction

The IL Birth to 3 Report extracts information regarding a student's experiences from birth to 3 years old. 

Selection Criteria

Student Selection

The report selects which student records to use based on the following criteria:

  • The student must not be excluded from state reporting.
  • The enrollment for the student must not be excluded from state reporting.

Description

Schools to Include

Choose one of the following:

  • Current School Only – Includes all student records associated with the current school that meet selection criteria. To change the current school, click the School link at the top of the page and choose the appropriate school from the list.
  • All Schools – Includes all student records on the PowerSchool server that meet selection criteria.

Note: The All Schools option is only available when running the report from the District Office.

Students to Include

Indicate which students to include in the report by selecting one of the following options:

  • The selected [number] students only – Run the report for students in the current selection.
  • All students – Run the report for all students in the current school or district that meet the selection criteria.

Note: If running the report for a single student, or group of students, select the students prior to runningreport.

RCDTS Number (Override)

Enter the 15-digit RCDTS (Region, Country, District, Type, and School) number.

The value entered in this field will be used in the file name and the header in the report results.

Report Start Date

Enter the start date for the reporting period.

Format: MM/DD/YYYY

Report End Date

Enter the end date for the reporting period.

Format: MM/DD/YYYY

7RCDTS Serving School

The RCDTS number that identifies the school that provides service to the student.

Note: If the RCDTS Serving School is blank for a student, the RCDTS Home School entered on the Edit School page is extracted.

11Screening for Eligibility Tool

Indicates the tool used to determine eligibility.

Valid values:

  • 01 = Ages and States Questionnaire
  • 02 = Brigance (0 to 35 Months)
  • 03 = Denver Development Screening
  • 05 = Other Screening Instrument

Indicates whether the student's family is receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)

24Household Income Criteria

Indicates whether the student’s family income is less than four times the poverty guidelines updated periodically in the Federal Register by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under the authority of 42 U.S.C. 9902(2).

Valid values:

  • 01 = 50% at or below the Federal Poverty Level
  • 02 = 100% at or below the Federal Poverty Level
  • 03 = 200% at or below the Federal Poverty Level
  • 04 = 400% at or below the Federal Poverty Level
  • 06 = N/A - Homeless or Youth in Care (this option is obsolete)

25Screening for Social and Emotional Development

Indicates the screening that was used to determine the student's social and emotional Development.
