IL Student Address Report | PowerSchool SIS Compliance

Introduction

Use the IL Student Address Report to submit data to the ISBE SIS for students who are actively enrolled as of the report Snapshot date. Based on the runtime parameter selected, the report can be generated for IEP students only or for all students.

Selection Criteria

School Selection

The report selects which school records to use based on the following criteria:

The school must be associated with a student included in the report.
The school must not be excluded from state reporting.

Student Selection

The report selects which student records to use based on the following criteria:

The student must not be excluded from state reporting.
The enrollment for the student must not be excluded from state reporting.

Field	Description
Schools to Include	Choose one of the following: Current School Only – Includes all student records associated with the current school that meet selection criteria. To change the current school, click the School link at the top of the page and choose the appropriate school from the list. All Schools – Includes all student records on the PowerSchool server that meet selection criteria. Note: The All Schools option is only available when running the report from the District Office.
Current Selection Students*	Indicate which students to include in the report by selecting one of the following options: The selected [number] students only – Run the report for students in the current selection. All students – Run the report for all students in the current school or district that meet the selection criteria. Note: If running the report for a single student, or group of students, select the students prior to runningreport.
RCDTS Number (Override)	Enter the 15-digit RCDTS (Region, Country, District, Type, and School) number. The value entered here is used in the file name and the header in the report results.
Snapshot Date	The date as of which the snapshot of data needs to be reported.
Include Students	Select from the following values: Include All Students Include Students with IEP’s Only
Submit to ISBE	Select from the following values: No - Do Not Submit (default) Yes - Submit to ISBE Note: This parameter is available only when ISBE WebService Transfer is enabled at the district level.

Report Output

Each of the fields displayed in the output of the report are described below. See Understanding the Report Output Table for a definition of each column in the table.

2	Address Type	This field contains a 01 (Primary) if this is the primary resident household in use by the student. It contains a 02 (Secondary) if this is an address other than the primary resident household.		String	2
3	Student ID	This field contains the student identification code assigned to each student in your district by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). This field should be blank for all students upon first submission of the student. 4	SAP ID	This field contains the PowerSchool student identification code. 8	RCDTS Home School	The RCDTS number that identifies the student’s home school. 9	RCDTS Serving School	This field contains the RCDTS number that identifies the school that provides service to the student. If the RCDTS Serving School is blank for a student, the RCDTS Home School entered on the Edit School page is used in the report.
