Enabling the SIF Agent Adapter in PowerSchool

The SIF Agent relies on features of the PowerSchool application that support the Schools Interoperability Framework. The “Data Event API Services + SIF Agent for PowerSchool” must be enabled in order to capture changes made to records in the database.  By default, these are disabled when PowerSchool is installed. To use this option, log into the PowerSchool application as an administrator, then select System > System Settings > Global API/SIF Settings.

On the Global API/SIF Settings screen, select the option for “Data Event API Services + SIF Agent for PowerSchool”, then click Submit.
