Security

The PowerSchool SIF Agent communicates with Zone Integration Servers using the HTTP or secure HTTPS transport protocols. HTTPS is a secure version of HTTP commonly used by e-commerce websites. It provides for both encrypted and authenticated communications so that data sent over the network is not only protected from view but also verified to be exchanged between two parties that trust one another. HTTP works the same as HTTPS but does not offer any encryption or authentication capability.
