Staff Setup

Introduction

The following data elements are required for staff setup. The first two pages of navigation are removed for brevity:

Start Page > Staff.

  1. On the Start Page select the School link at the top of the page.

  2. Choose the appropriate school from the pop-up menu.

  3. Click Submit.

  4. Select Staff from the left side of the page

  5. Select the first letter of the staff member's last name.

  6. Select a staff member from the list. The last accessed staff information page opens for the staff member selected.

Staff Assignment

Compliance, Staff Assignment

Special Education Assignment Flag

Indicates if the assignment is to teach students who are enrolled in a special education program.

Special Education Staff Program Code

Select the relevant special program from the drop-down list. This field is enabled only if the above flag is enabled.

Job Classification Code

Select the relevant value from the drop-down list.

The codes 201 and 204 are available for selection only when the Special Education Assignment Flag is unchecked. When the Special Education Assignment Flag is checked, the codes 201 and 204 are not available. Instead, code 202 is available.

The codes 102, 103, and 104 are available for selection irrespective of whether the Special Education Assignment Flag is checked or not.

Teaching Subject Area”

Select the relevant value from the drop-down list.

This field is enabled only if the job classification code selected is 201, 202, 204, 206, 222, or 223.

Administrator/Instructional Area

Select the relevant value from the drop-down list.

This field is enabled only if the job classification code selected is 100 through 299, 401, 411, or 415 through 420.

Start Date

Select the start date for the assignment. This is a required field.

Select the relevant school to which the staff will be assigned from the drop-down list. This is a required field.

Grade Level

Select the grade levels that the staff will handle as part of the assignment.

Number of Classes Taught in Subject

Enter the number of classes taken as part of the assignment. Users can enter a maximum of two digits.

Required for Job Classification Codes 201 - 206.
