Prevent Harassment or Discrimination in Schools Report
Introduction
The Prevent Harassment or Discrimination collection collects the number of formal harassment or discrimination reports received by the school and the type of bias reported when harassment or discrimination was found. The time to complete each investigation is also reported.
Report Expectation
The report should contain a record for each formal report of harassment or discrimination reported by a school even for cases where no bias was found.
Assumptions
For Incident Management records to get pulled in the Prevent Harassment or Discrimination in Schools Report, they have to satisfy the below criteria
Incident Type should be State Reportable^
Behavior code should be Bullying/Harassment^ (with sub-category selected) or Bullying^
Data Collection
Behavior Code Setup
To accommodate the requirements of this new report, new bias-type subcodes have been seeded under the Bullying/Harassment^ behavior code.
Path: Start Page → District Management → Behavior → Incident Codes and Subcodes → Behavior Codes → Student Incidents^ → Bullying/Harassment^
Users need to make sure that they select the behavior type as Bullying/Harassment^ for such incidents and then the applicable bias type under this behavior code.
Below is what the Behavior Codes setup will look like for Bullying/Harassment^ at the district level as of SR_24.7.2.0 release. Subcodes underlined in blue are newly seeded in SR_24.7.2.0

Behavior Codes setup as of SR_24.7.2.0
Action Attribute setup
An additional requirement from CDE is to report the investigation time for each incident of harassment or discrimination (if applicable). This will be based on the newly added action attribute Report Investigation Time, which is available in State Reporting release SR_24.7.2.0. Users should select one of the following 3 values in the Report Investigation Time dropdown in action attributes while creating or editing incidents.
01 - Within 60 school days
02 - Within 61 - 90 school days
03 - Exceeded 90 school days

Users should ensure that the below steps are part of the incident creation for harassment or discrimination incidents.
The Incident Type is State Reportable^
Bullying/Harassment^ is selected followed by the bias type in Add Behavior popup
In the Add Action popup, if required, add a suitable value for the action attribute Report Investigation Time^
