Section A - Courses for Grades 9 to 12
The Section A report lists student-level records by course and class for secondary schools. This report is available for secondary schools only and helps verify course-level detail data before submission. The report is generated for the October, March, and June submission periods. The details report lists individual student information for students included in the OnSIS Verification Summary - Section A report.
Selection Criteria
Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. Refer to selection criteria for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.
School Selection

The report applies to Secondary schools only.

Schools must not be Excluded From State Reporting, i.e., [Schools]State_ExcludeFromReporting must not be selected.

The selected school must be identified by Alternative School Number (BSID).
Student Selection

Students are selected from the S_ON_STU_XML_CLASS_ENROL_C permanent table.

Students must be in Grades 9, 10, 11, or 12.

Student must be in the selected school, academic year, and submission period.

Conditions under which a student is counted or just listed.

The report includes both active and inactive students. Active students are counted in the totals, while inactive students are listed but not included in the total calculations.

Prints classes from the S_ON_XML_Class_S. The classes with a single segment are based on S_ON_XML_SEGMENT_S table.

Classes must not have the Course Delivery Type, 4 (Out-of-school Co-op) and 5 (In-school Co-op).

The report is ordered by Course Code Asc, then by either Student name or OEN based on the user input parameter selection.
