OnSIS Student ADE Report

Introduction

This report is similar in content and format to the OnSIS VFSCH-0067D.00 Average Daily Enrolment - Detail report, shows student ADE values for continuing education classes reported in OnSIS Night School and Summer School submissions. The report creates both a PDF version and a CSV version.

Selection Criteria

Student Selection

The report includes students for which a <NON_CREDIT_AVERAGE_DAILY_ENROLMENT> or <AVERAGE_DAILY_ENROLMENT> segment is generated in the OnSIS submission (Night or Summer) associated with the "Submission Type" selected on the report input page. If "Selected n Students Only" is selected, only those students who are also part of the currently selected set of PowerSchool students are included.

Class Selection

The report identifies the classes for which ADE is calculated using the same criteria used by the OnSIS submission (Night or Summer) associated with the "Submission Type" selected on the report input page. ADE values are calculated using the same method as the associated OnSIS submission.

Report Input

Field	Description
Current Selection Students*	Choose either "All Students" (the default) or "Selected n Students Only". If "Selected n Students Only" is selected, only students in the current PowerSchool student selection are included, subject to the report's other selection criteria.
Submission Type*	Choose either "Night School" or "Summer School".
Select Alternative School Number*	Select a BSID from the drop down list. If run from a school, the list contains only the BSID for the current school, and it is selected. If run from the district office, a distinct list of BSIDs is displayed from the set of schools for which either the night school flag or summer school flag is on (depending on the selected Submission Type), and no entry is selected.
List of Alternative Night Schools	Displays a read only list of all schools for which the night school flag is on and whose BSID matches that of the selected alternative school number. If no matching schools are present "N/A - School Not Flagged As Night" is displayed.
List of Alternative Summer Schools	Displays a read only list of all schools for which the summer school flag is on and whose BSID matches that of the selected alternative school number. If no matching schools are present "N/A - School Not Flagged As Summer" is displayed.

Report Output

The report creates a zip folder named ON_ONSIS_StudentADE_xxxxx containing two files:

a PDF version named ON_OnSIS_StudentADE_xxxxx.pdf

a CSV version named ON_OnSIS_StudentADE_xxxxx_Extract.csv

where xxxxx is either 'Night' or 'Summer'.

Each of the fields in the report output is described below. See Understanding the Report Output Table for a definition of each column in the table.

PDF Version

The report is grouped first by register type (i.e. Literacy and Numeracy, Adult Credit, Adult Native, Summer, International Languages Elementary, Correspondence/Self Study/E-Learning). The delivery type or course offering type associated with the register type is shown in the grouping. Within each register type, students are grouped by student board residence status type (i.e. Pupil of the Board, Other Pupil). Within a board residence status type grouping, students are ordered ascending by student name.

Run Date	System date.
Academic Year	School year associated with the OnSIS Reporting Dates entered in District Setup.
Submission Type	"Night School" or "Summer School" as selected on the report input page.

Schools	A comma separated list of names of schools for which the night or summer school flag (as determined by Submission Type) is on and whose BSID matches that specified on the report input page. Register Type Description	The register type group header name has the form Xxxxxx: yyyyy - zzzzz where: xxxxxx - is one of: "Literacy and Numeracy", "Adult Native", "Adult Credit", "Summer", "International Languages Elementary", or "Correspondence/Self-Study/E-Learning" depending on the register associated with the class. yyyyyy - is either: "Delivery" for Adult Credit, Summer, and Correspondence/Self-Study/E-Learning "Course Offering" for Literacy and Numeracy and Adult Native. CSV Version

The first row of the file is a header record containing the column names indicated below. Each data record corresponds to a detail line in the PDF version of the report.

Rows in the ouptput file are ordered ascending by register type, delivery type, course offering type, board residence status type, and student name.
