OnSIS Verification Summary - Section E
Section E - Enrolment by Attendance Type
The Section E (Enrolled by Year of Entry into Canada) report collects aggregate enrolment information for pupils of the board by year of entry to Canada. You can run this report for either elementary or secondary schools.
Selection Criteria
Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. Refer to the selection criteria for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.
School Selection
Schools with the "Exclude From State Reporting" ([Schools]State_ExcludeFromReporting) checkbox selected will not be included.
Student Selection
The student must be marked as Pupil of the Board students. (S_ON_STU_XML_SCHOOL_ENROL_C.Stu_Brd_Res_Stat_Type = 01)
The student must be enrolled in the school as of the submission count date. (where S_ON_STU_XML_School_Enrol_C .Enrolment_End_Date is NULL, or S_ON_STU_XML_School_Enrol_C .Enrolment_End_Date equals July 1, for June submission)
The student was not born in Canada. (where S_ON_STU_XML_SCHOOL_ENROL_C.Country_Type_Birth <> CAN)
The student entered Canada for the first time during the three years prior to the submission count date. (where S_ON_STU_XML_SCHOOL_ENROL_C .Year_Of_Entry_To_Canada falls within one of the four years)
The student’s country of birth is not any of the following countries: United States, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland. (where S_ON_STU_XML_SCHOOL_ENROL_C.Country_Type is not 667- United States, 034 - AUSTRALIA, 304 - IRELAND, REP OF (EIRE), 439 - NEW ZEALAND, 655 - UNITED KINGDOM, 658 -ENGLAND , CAN - CANADA, 664 - SCOTLAND, 665 -WALES, or 661 - NORTHERN IRELAND) or (S_ON_STU_XML_SCHOOL_ENROL_C.Country_Type = NULL and S_ON_STU_XML_SCHOOL_ENROL_C.Province_State_Type has a value)
Fully High Credit students are excluded:
Students where (S_ON_STU_XML_SCHOOL_ENROL_C.HIGH_CREDIT_FTE > 0 AND S_ON_STU_XML_SCHOOL_ENROL_C.FTE = 0) OR
Students where (S_ON_STU_XML_SCHOOL_ENROL_C.HIGH_CREDIT_ADE > 0 AND S_ON_STU_XML_SCHOOL_ENROL_C.ADE = 0)
