OnSIS October Board Report

Contents

Introduction

OnSIS October Board report provides enrolment numbers in Continuing Education and Summer School by gender, separated by category, for all sections and all terms for the selected year. The report also shows the number of graduates in Continuing Education by diploma certificate type and gender. Students enrolled in more than one type of course are reported for each course.

Selection Criteria

Year and Term Selection

The report calculates enrolment for all terms in the year that is selected at the top of the PowerSchool window.

School Selection

A school is included when one of the following is true:

"Is a Night (Continuing Education) School" flag is selected ([S_ON_SCH_X]IsNightSchool = 1) OR
"Summer School" flag is selected ([Schools]IsSummerSchool = 1).

Only active Summer and Night schools are reported; schools with 'Exclude from State Reporting' or 'School is closed' selected are excluded.

Class and Student Selection

Student must not be excluded from provincial reporting
Each element in the report has a unique class and student selection; refer to the Report Output table below for details.

Notes:

For Night Schools, students enrolled before June 25 are included in the counts for the Night/Con Ed Program and students enrolled on or after June 25 are included in the counts for the Summer Program.
For Summer Schools, students enrolled on or after June 25 are included in the counts for the Summer Program.
Students who are enrolled in a class but are absent every day are not filtered out of the report. To ensure these students do not appear in this report, or in continuing education registers, mark them as no shows (entry date = exit date).

If run from the district level, all schools are selected by default. You can select one or multiple schools, or use the default.

If run from the school level, only the current school BSID is listed.

Note: Only Summer Schools and Night Schools appear in the list.
