Pre-ID Test Labels for NJBCT

Use

If run at the district level, choose one of the following from the pop-up menu:

• Default – District Wide. Includes all records on the PowerSchool server that meet selection criteria.
• Current School Only – Includes all records associated with the current school that meet the selection criteria.
• District Wide – Includes all records on the PowerSchool server that meet the selection criteria.

If run at the school level, the report includes all records associated with the current school that meet the selection criteria. To change the current school, click School at the top of the page and choose the appropriate school from the list.

Students to Include

Indicate which students to include in the report by selecting one of the following options:

• The selected [number] students only – Run the report for students in the current selection who are actively enrolled in a designated Biology class as of the Date to Scan.

• All students – Run the report for all students in the current school or district, and actively enrolled in a designated Biology class as of the Date to Scan. 

Note: If running the report for a single student, or group of students, select the students prior to running a report.

Date to Scan

Enter the date to scan for the report.

Processing Options

Choose a time to run the report from the pop-up menu:

• In Background Now (Recommended) to execute the report immediately in the background.
• ASAP to execute the report in the order it is received in the Report Queue.
• At Night to execute the report during the next evening.
• On Weekend to execute the report during the next weekend.
• On Specific Time to execute the report on the date and time specified.

Specific Date/Time

Enter a date using the format mm/dd/yyyyor mm-dd-yyyyin order to run the report on a specific day. The incorrect format displays an alert and the date field is submitted as a blank entry.

Use the pop-up menus to schedule the report to be run at a specific hour and minute.

Example: 7/29/2008 @ 10:05 AM.

Enter the Biology Course Numbers as acomma separatedlist

Type the biology courses applicable to this test (i.e. BIOL001,BIOL002,BIOL003). Do not put a space between the course name and the comma.

Enter the Biology Course Types as acomma separatedlist

Type the biology course types that correspond to the biology course numbers entered in the previous field. You must enter the codes in the same order as the course numbers.

For example, if BIOL001 and BIOL002 are both Code 11 Resource Center Biology, and BIOL003 is Code 12 ESL Biology, you would enter the biology course types in the following order: 11,11,12.

A list of valid biology course types displays on the report interface.

Include Delimiters

Click the Include Delimiters option to include delimiters between the fields in the extract file. The default is No Delimiters.  You cannot upload a file containing Delimiters.

This field contains the state-assigned ID for this student. This field is extracted from the student NJS SID tab, Student Selection > State/Province – New Jersey > NJS SID.
