Districts should always be using the July 1st date in the current reporting year. If students were registered in your district before July 1st, they are considered to be attending for a year. If a student was not attending or registered before July 1st, then the student has not been there for a full academic year.

This field does not apply to students in a natural progression (those who are advancing Grade Levels as expected).
