Introduction
This report can run for the school level as well as from district. When run from the school, it is run for the school running the report. When run from the district, the report can run for one, multiple, or all schools.
Selection Criteria
Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. Refer to selection criteria for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.
Student
The report selects records from the [Students], [ReEnrollments], and [Log] tables based on the following criteria:

The student must not be excluded from state reporting.

The student has one or more school enrollment records in any of the selected schools that meet the following criteria.

The enrollment record is not excluded from state reporting
-
The enrollment Exit Date occurs after the report start date.
-
The enrollment Entry Date occurs on or before the report end date.
-
The school of enrollment is not excluded from state reporting.

The student has one or more Log Entries that meet the following criteria:
-
Only Log entries Records where Student is an Offender or a victim
-
Value 'Student' must be selected in one of these two fields in the Log entries page

Victim Type

Only log entries with Action Taken where Value is one of the following are included

In school Suspension (ISS)
-
Out of School Suspension (OSS)

IAES Removal by School Personnel
-
IAES Removal by Impartial Hearing Officer

Only Log Entries with the start date that falls between the report start and end date range selected are included.

All Incident types will be included
-
Only these 3 Incident types, Drugs, Weapons, or Serious Bodily Injury will be reported.

If any other incident type is selected on the log Entry Record, then the report will set the Response Reason as blank.

If the Action Taken is IAES Removal by School Personnel, then Response Reason is a required field. For any other Action Taken value, it can be left blank.

Exclusion: If Incident Type is other than the 3 specified above and the action taken is IAES Removal by School Personnel, the action is not reported.

In an event where more than two reasons were associated with a response, report the most serious according to the hierarchy. The most serious is “Serious Bodily Injury” followed by “Weapons” and “Drugs.”

SFTP connections |
Choose an SFTP connection from the pop-up menu to have the report output uploaded automatically. Please refer to the System Administrator portion of the PowerSchool Administrator User Guide for details on how to create an SFTP connection for use with this new report parameter. |
