Assessment ACC MOD Fact Extract (SFTP)

Introduction

This extract includes one record for each student Assessment Accommodation / Modification value that exists.

Selection Criteria

Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. Refer to selection criteria for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.

Student Selection

The report selects records from the [Students] and [ReEnrollments] tables based on the following criteria:

  • The student's school exit date must occur after the report start date
  • The student's school entry date must occur on or before the report end date.
  • The student's school exit date must occur after the school entry date.
  • The student must not be excluded from state reporting.
  • The student must have Assessment Test Date between report date parameters.

Description

Dates to be Filled

Select the checkbox next to the filter fields to save the settings as defaults. To select all checkboxes, choose Select All from the pop-up menu. To clear all checkboxes, choose Clear All.

Select Schools

Choose one of the following:

  • Current School Only – Includes all student records associated with the current school that meet selection criteria. To change the current school, click the School link at the top of the page and choose the appropriate school from the list.
  • All Schools – Includes all student records on the PowerSchool server that meet selection criteria.

Note: The All Schools option is only available when running the report from the District Office.

Current Selection Students

Indicate which students to include in the report by selecting one of the following options:

  • The selected [number] students only – Run the report for students in the current selection.
  • All students – Run the report for all students in the current school or district that meet the selection criteria.

Note: If running the report for a single student, or group of students, select the students prior to running report.

Display Header

Choose Yes or No from the pop-up menu to indicate whether to display the header (data element name) for each column in the report output, as well as to display additional fields used to audit the data in the report.

Start Date

Enter the start date for the report.

End Date

Enter the end date for the report.

Test Description

Choose the assessment from the pop-up menu.

Item Description

Choose the specific version of the assessment from the pop-up menu.

SFTP connections

Choose an SFTP connection from the pop-up menu to have the report output uploaded automatically.

Please refer to the System Administrator portion of the PowerSchool Administrator User Guide for details on how to create an SFTP connection for use with this new report parameter.

Note: Remote connection requires PowerSchool 7.1.4 or higher.

Report Output

Each of the fields displayed in the output of the report are described below. See Understanding the Report Output Table for a definition of each column in the table.

District Code

The student’s district of responsibility code proceeded by the letters “NY.”

If the Charter and Nonpublic Schools checkbox is selected on the Edit District Information page, then the 8-digit district code and 7-digit institution code should be reported. Otherwise, the 6-digit BEDS District Code is reported. Enter the appropriate code for the report during your setup.

Assessment School Year Date

June 30th of the current school year.

The report locates the last day of the Date of Administration (of the assessment) and inserts 06-30 in front of the year.

Test Date

The first date of test administration or the first day of the window in which the test was offered. If the test was taken on a make-up day, report the date of original administration. If the assessment was offered during a range of dates, indicate the first date the assessment was permitted to be administered.
