All States: CRDC 2023-2024 Report Update

Resolved an issue in the CRDC 2023–2024 report where Preschool English Learner indicators (PSCH‑2b/DISC‑1b) were reported incorrectly in PDF and CSV outputs.

Values now accurately reflect data entered in the UI, with proper handling of blank fields.

Ed-Fi: Bell Schedule Publishing Update for Remote/Secondary Enrollments

Extended the Bell Schedule publishing filter to also cover remote and secondary school enrollments. When a student is enrolled in a secondary school, the Bell Schedule of the remote school is no longer published if it is not linked to that school's calendar.

Ed-Fi: Class Periods Publishing Filter for Unlinked Bell Schedules

Updated TN Ed-Fi to prevent publishing class periods that are linked to Bell Schedules not configured on the Calendar page. This resolves SWORDS error code 2011 where class periods were being reported for Bell Schedules not tied to any calendar.

Ed-Fi: Updates to Transcripts Final Letter Grade

Updated the logic for finalLetterGradeEarned in TN Ed-Fi student transcripts to align with the existing 080 extract alpha grade logic. When the stored Grade value is alphabetic, the system publishes the same value to finalLetterGradeEarned. When the stored Grade value is numeric, the system converts it to a letter grade using the standard TN grading scale (90+ → A, 80–89 → B, 70–79 → C, 60–69 → D, < 60 → F).

Note : For these changes to reflect in the publish records, run the “Publish Changes” data publishing option from the Data Exchange Dashboard for the Transcript Resource Category.

Improved URL Handling in Staff EduID Requests

The Staff EduID request functionality has been updated to improve the structure of URL requests, enhancing alignment with secure data handling practices and privacy standards. This change has been implemented within the existing workflow, without any impact on the user interface or experience.

Ed-Fi : StudentAcademicRecord Extended Publishing for Students Without Stored Grades

An update has been implemented to allow Student Academic Records to additionally publish for students without stored grades when Document Completion data is available.

The system now publishes a Student Academic Record in the current school year, for students without stored grades, when both the Document Completion Type and Document Completion Date are populated for the student in the TN Student Information page, provided the student has an active current-year enrollment (including no-show enrollments) and meets standard framework criteria (e.g. not part of a school excluded from state reporting)

Additionally, the previous restriction introduced in PSSR-427138 (SR_26.4.2.0), which limited diploma award dates to only publish in the corresponding term that the date falls in, has been removed. The Document Completion Date will now publish as the diplomaAwardDate even if it falls outside the current term year, for all student academic records.

To reflect these changes, districts must run Publish Changes or Publish All from the Data Exchange Dashboard for the Transcripts resource category.
