The selection logic has been updated so that excluded students are now included in Publish All Records processing on student’s publishing page, ensuring their previously published Ed-Fi resources are correctly marked for deletion when they become excluded.

Ed‑Fi processing for the Sections resource has been updated to reflect these recent changes.

Ed-Fi: Updates to Demographics resource (limitedEnglishProficiencyDescriptor)

A student’s English Language Background (ELB) value will now publish for both the current and previous current‑year demographics records when a student transfers schools in the same year. Previously, the ELB value was published only for the current enrollment’s demographics resource and not for the demographic resources associated with earlier enrollments within the same school year.

Note: On the Data Exchange Dashboard, running Publish Changes or a Publish Selection for affected student records in the Enrollment and Demographics resource will populate the previously missing language descriptor for the prior enrollment.

Ed‑Fi: Multiple Classification Periods Now Published Correctly for same classification Type

Ed‑Fi processing has been updated to ensure begin and end dates for all classifications publish accurately when a student has multiple records of the same classification type. These date ranges are now reported through the Student Characteristics → PERIODS collection, aligning with TNDOE requirements for district‑level reporting.
