An update has been implemented to correct the ADA (Average Daily Attendance) and ADM (Average Daily Membership) column headers in the CSV output of the Director’s Monthly Membership/Attendance Audit report.

Ed-Fi: Student Attendance Deletes Now Sent via Publish Changes and Publish Selection

Ed‑Fi processing for Publish Selection and Publish Changes has been updated to align with how Publish All handles updates and deletes to Student Attendance. Previously, when attendance records beyond a student’s exit date were deleted in PowerSchool, the changes were not reflected in Ed‑Fi through these publishing options, resulting in orphaned records.

Ed-Fi: Class Period Publishing Updated to Prevent SWORDS Error 2011

An update has been implemented to ensure Class Periods are only published when their associated Bell Schedules are linked to a calendar. Previously, Class Periods tied to unused Bell Schedules were still published, causing state validation errors. With this fix, only valid Class Periods are published, improving data accuracy and preventing errors.

Note: Districts that experienced this issue should run a Publish Changes for Org Info Resource Category on the Data Exchange Dashboard

Ed-Fi: Discipline Actions Resource Update - Added Mapping for studentDisciplineIncidentBehaviorAssociations

An update has been implemented to ensure discipline actions in Ed-Fi are correctly linked to behavior by adding mapping for the studentdisciplineincidentbehaviorassociations element. Because behaviors serve as the link to incidents, this enhancement ensures that discipline actions are now properly associated with their corresponding incidents at the ODS level.

Note: For previously published discipline actions to reflect this mapping update, districts will need to run a Publish Changes or Publish All from the Data Exchange Dashboard for the Student Discipline category after taking this update.

Ed-Fi: Quarter Grades Now Publishing Alongside Semester Grades

An update has been implemented to ensure Quarter grades (Q1–Q4) publish correctly in TN Ed-Fi, even when Semester grades (S1/S2) are also stored. Previously, Semester grades could block Quarter grades from being published.

With this fix, Quarter and Semester grades will now publish together when store codes match their terms.

Enhancement to Display Generational Suffix in Student Header

An enhancement has been implemented to include the student’s generational suffix in the student header, displayed next to the home school. The label “Generational Suffix” is now shown along with the corresponding value, which is sourced from the Preferred Suffix field on the Demographics page.

Ed-Fi: Honors Diploma Now Published as Regular Diploma in Student Academic Record

An update has been implemented to report Honors Diploma as a Regular Diploma in Ed‑Fi. When selected, the system now publishes a value of 1 in the diplomaTypeDescriptor within the studentAcademicRecord, which is recognized as a Regular Diploma.

Note: To reflect this change, districts will need to republish the Student Academic Record for affected students. This can be done by running a Publish Changes for the Transcript Resource category in the Data Exchange page at the district or school level.
