State Reporting 25.9.3.0 Release Notes

PSSR-404968	All States/Provinces: Minimum PowerSchool version for State Reporting - 25.3.0.1	The minimum supported version on the PowerSchool SIS State/Provincial Reporting installer is updated and can now be installed on PowerSchool SIS 25.3.0.1 or later. PSSR-405676	All States/Provinces: NCEA - 2025-26 NCEA Updates	Additional References: PSSR-405491, PSSR-405491, PSSR-406505, and PSSR-405491 The NCEA report and remaining data collection updates for the 2025-26 school year are now available. These include the following: The Diagnosed Disability field on the Student Information for NCEA Reporting has been updated to a multi-select. Users will now be able to select multiple disabilities. A new question has been added: Early childhood Education center (not directly affiliated with another school). This question is available on the School Information for NCEA Reporting page, and the field’s name is eccenter_tf. NCEA Report Version - 25.9.3.0 The report now includes these 2 questions: How many students are Hispanic/Latino or Hispanic/Latino and some other race? The logic for the output would be if a student has the Ethnicity question - Is the student Hispanic or Latino? marked as yes, then the student will be counted for this question. The sum of the number of students fulfilling this criterion will be included in the report output. How many professional staff are Hispanic/Latino or Hispanic/Latino and some other race? The logic for the output would be if a student has the Ethnicity question - Is the staff member Hispanic or Latino? marked as yes, then the student will be counted for this question. The sum of the number of staff fulfilling this criterion will be included in the report output. The Diocese and the School Summary reports include a new column called Multiple Diagnosed Disabilities in the CSV file and a new row in the PDF report output. The student will be counted if the student has more than one value in the Diagnosed Disability field. The Diocese PDF file, line item including the Number of Schools with a board, commission or council by type has been updated to segregate the output based on Elementary and Secondary Schools.
PSSR-357285	All States/Provinces: Updates to the Attendance Change History Report	Attendance Change History Report - v1.4 The following updates are now available for the Attendance Change History Report: The IP address parameter has been renamed to Enter IP Addresses, and it will accept multiple IP addresses. Multiple IP addresses must be comma-separated. The parameter is now a text box. Report output now filters Grade Levels based on the specified start and end dates, instead of evaluating all grade levels. The Select Period parameter will now show every period available for the selected school. The Select Who modified parameter will now show every user available for the selected school. The Selected Changed From/To Attendance Code Values parameters will now show up for every attendance code available for the school.
PSSR-340209	All States/Provinces: Updates to the Discipline Incident Letter Report	Additional Reference: PSSR-340210 Discipline Incident Letter Report - v1.6 The following updates have been implemented for the Discipline Incident Letters: The Discipline Incident Letter Report has been updated to include the Principal’s Signature in the report output. Districts will have the ability to upload the Principal’s Signature from the Incident Letter Template creation/edit page. The Discipline Incident Letter Report will now include Board Policy Violations associated with the Behavior.
PSSR-321028	Ed-Fi Framework: Enhancement to Data Publishing Page	The Data publishing page, from System administrator - Data exchange, has been enhanced to allow filtering and sorting on the columns.
PSSR-406212	Ed-Fi Framework: Student Publishing Page Display Update	The display issue with the 'Publish All' button on the student publishing page, which briefly appeared at the top before disappearing, has been fixed.
PSSR-396564	Ed-Fi Framework: Removed PUBLISH ERRORS Option from the Run Now Button	The “PUBLISH ERRORS” option has been removed from both the Run Now and Run All features on the dashboard. To enhance clarity and simplicity, we have retained the “RETRY ERRORS” functionality, which now encompasses the capabilities of the former PUBLISH ERRORS. This means that if users wish to address errors even after certain number of days, the system will re-gather data to ensure its accuracy before re-running the processing.
PSSR-399755	NOVA - (staffDevelopments) Staff Development - Purpose Code removed	The purpose code field will no longer publish in the staffDevelopmentPurposeCodeDescriptor element in the NOVA staffDevelopments resource.
PSSR-398848	NOVA - (staffEducationOrganizationEmploymentAssociation) Staff Employment - Updates to publish License Number	The License Number of a Staff will now be published as part of the (staffEducationOrganizationEmploymentAssociation) Staff Employment resource under nmped_staffEducationOrganizationEmploymentAssociationExtension. The source of this field is the LicenseNumber field in the S_NM_USR_X table.
PSSR-398841	NOVA - (staffs) Staff Demographics - Updates to remove License Number	The (staffs) Staff Demographics publishing logic has been updated to remove the License Number from publishing under identificationCodes. The only values that will now publish under identificationCodes in the staffs resource is the SSN.
PSSR-398852	NOVA - (studentMigrantEducationProgramAssociations) Student Migrant - Publishing Updates	The (studentMigrantEducationProgramAssociations) Student Migrant has been updated to publish the following elements: priorityForServices medAlertDescriptor The values of these elements will be published based on the Migrant child table record on the Student’s Migrant page. Note: These changes will require the Descriptor (Common Codes) to be downloaded again to pull in the new medAlertDescriptor values.
PSSR-402042	NOVA - (studentProgramAssociations) Student Programs - Updates to publish T1AN program records	The (studentProgramAssociations) Student Programs resource is now updated to publish T1AN program records. This follows the PED updates for the 2025-26 school year to update the T1AND program code to T1AN.
PSSR-406151	NOVA - (studentSpecialEducationAssociationEvents) SPED Events updates to publish events with the event date in the past but within 365 days from the enrollment start date	The SPED Events resource (studentSpecialEducationAssociationEvents) publishing logic has been updated to address the issue of an event not publishing even if it is within 365 days in the past from the enrollment begin date.
PSSR-407575	NOVA - studentSpecialEducationProgramAssociation (Special Education) - IEP fields removed	The following fields will no longer publish as part of the studentSpecialEducationProgramAssociation (Special Education) resource. iepBeginDate iepEndDate iepReviewDate These fields will not be published as part of the Special Education IEP Dates resource.

PSSR-401272	NOVA - studentSpecialEducationProgramAssociationIEPDates (Special Education IEP Dates) - New Resource is now available	A new NOVA resource - studentSpecialEducationProgramAssociationIEPDates (Special Education IEP Dates) - is now available in PowerSchool. The resource is available under Student Programs on the Student’s publishing page, and on other Ed-Fi dashboards in PowerSchool. A record for this resource will be published for each record in the IEP child table (S_NM_STU__IEP_C) on the Student’s Special Ed page if the record is active for any duration in the reporting year. This will also include any records whose start date might be before the current year. In determining whether the record is active during the reporting year, the end date of the IEP child table record is assumed to be a day prior to the start date of the next IEP child table record. The Special Education IEP Dates resource contains a reference to the Special Education resource, which is based on the active SPED record at the time of the IEP begin date. If the Student has the primary area of exceptionality = G, then no records for this resource will be published since there will be no corresponding Special Education records. The Special Education IEP Dates resource has a dependency on the Special Education resource in PowerSchool. This means that there must be a Special Education record published for some part of the duration that the IEP record spans.
PSSR-406902	Action Codes 10 and 11 are no longer State Reportable	The following action codes are now updated to not be State Reportable: 10 - Restraint^ 11 - Seclusion^ Any incident resource records that have only these action codes associated with them will no longer publish to NOVA. However, if any other action codes are also part of the same incident where codes 10 and 11 are also present, then the incident records corresponding to other State Reportable action codes will continue to publish.
