New IEP Child Table on the Student's Special Ed tab

A new child table is now available on the Student’s Special Ed page to store IEP Data. The child table allows multiple IEP records to be entered for a student. The IEP Data entered is stored in S_NM_STU_IEP_C.

The following fields are available in the child table record:

• IEP Annual Review Date

• Triennial Review Date

• Expected Late IEP Date

• Annual Review Delay Reason Code

• Level of Integration

• Primary Setting Code

• Primary Disability

Repo Schema Update and Level of Integration Sync for IEP Child Table

Added a repo schema update to create initial S_NM_STU_IEP_C child table records for all students active in SPED on the update date or during SY 2025–26, based on SPED start/end dates. Most fields are populated from existing student-level mappings, with IEP Annual Review Date auto-calculated as 365 days from the IEP Start Date and Expected Late IEP Date left blank.

Implemented bidirectional sync of Level of Integration (SpEdPercentage) between the student extension table (S_NM_STU_X) and the most recent IEP child table record for twice-exceptional (SE) students, ensuring updates remain consistent when values change in either location or when the Primary Area of Exceptionality changes to SE.

Updates have been made to the Programs Fact New/Edit page in PowerSchool to align with the NOVA 2025-26 requirements.

The following new programs have been added to the Program Code dropdown.

• (OST) Out-of-School Time

• (HIT) High-Impact Tutoring

• (NPT) Near Peer Tutoring

Also, the Program Code T1AND has been updated to T1AN.

The following new codes have been added in the Participation Info Code dropdown.

The Special Ed tab in PowerSchool has been updated.

• Fields that are not used in NOVA reporting have been moved to the Deprecated Fields tab.

• Verbiage updates have been made to the field labels.

• The fields on the Special Ed tab have been re-arranged as per the preferred option shared by PowerSchool districts.
