MI Seclusion and Restraint Comparison Report

Introduction

This report creates a CSV file to compare Incident Management incidents with a Participant Attribute code of ‘Seclusion and Restraint Incident’ to the student’s ‘Seclusion and Restraint’ Component page. When a student is identified in either, but there is no matching date between the two, the student will appear on the report. The purpose of the report is to verify all seclusions and restraints are identified in state reporting; this information is not generated from Incident Management and must be identified in the student ‘Seclusion and Restraint’ Component page. This report does not limit the information to only incidents that are state reportable.

Selection Criteria

Records are selected based on the following criteria:

  • An Incident Management incident has a student with a Participant Attribute Code of ‘Seclusion and Restraint Incident’ or a date entered in a student’s ‘Seclusion and Restraint’ Component page.

  • The Incident Date or the Seclusion and Restraint Date fall within the report start and end date.

  • This report does not limit the information to include only incidents that are identified as state reportable.
