MI 10/30 Day – By Period
Introduction
This will create the MI 10/30 Day – By Period report. Use this report to generate a listing of all students who were marked absent on the count date. Only students that were absent from at least one period on the count date will be listed in this report and only those periods that the student was absent from on the count date will be listed. A period will not show as returned on the report until the day after the student returns to that period, but will display the correct return date. If a student does not return in the required amount of time, an "X" will appear in the Returned Date column. Run this report if the school runs a regular single-day schedule.
- A student marked with an Excused Attendance Code has 30 calendar days to return.
- A student marked with an UnExcused Attendance Code has 10 school days to return.
- A student marked with a Suspension Attendance Code has 45 calendar days to return.
The Refresh Premier Attendance Views Data function should be run prior to running this report to ensure the most accurate data calculations. The Refresh Premier Attendance Views Data function can be found at: Start Page > Special Functions > Attendance Functions > Refrehs Premier Attendance Views Data.
This report will show the periods the student is enrolled in that are not taken at the selected school. The period and school courses taken at the non-selected school(s) will appear on the report but attendance data does not populate. In order for the non-selected school periods to appear on the report, the attendance codes selected in the parameters must be the same at both schools and be defined in the Attendance Codes at both schools.
Selection Criteria
Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. Refer to selection criteria for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.
Student Selection
The report selects records based on the following criteria:
- The student was marked absent in at least one period on the Current Count Date entered in the report parameters.
- The student was marked with an attendance code that was selected in either the Excused Attendance Codes, UnExcused Attendance Codes, or Suspension Attendance Codes report parameters.
- The period the student was absent in counts for ADA in the bell schedule.
- The attendance codes selected in the report parameters count for ADA.
- The section the student was absent in is not excluded from attendance.

Exclude Student FTE | Select Yes to omit the student FTE from the report. Select No to display the Student FTE. |
