MI Incident Management Discipline
Introduction
This will create the MI Discipline report for discipline that has been created using Incident Management. Use this report to generate a summary for a specific date range for students who have a discipline record for the number of days specified below. Discipline records are grouped by student, not by the school they are enrolled in at the time of the incident. This report details state-specific discipline field information for each incident as well as totals for the number of consequence days assigned to the student.
Selection Criteria
Selection criteria determine which database records are used in the report. Refer to selection criteria for analysis when the report does not return the correct records.
Student Selection
The report selects records based on the following criteria:
- The student had an Incident Management discipline with an incident date between the First Day of School and Current Count Date parameters ([Incident]Incident_TS>=First Day of School) and ([Incident]Incident_TS<=Current Count Date).
- The student had an Incident Management discipline whereas the incident is created in an Incident Type with a description containing a caret (^), the Behavior Code has a State Report Code, and the ‘(MSDS) Exclude from State Reporting^’ Attribute is not selected.
- If the 'Limit to Special Education and Expelled Students' parameter is selected as 'Yes' then the student must have both conditions above as well as the special education flag checked ([S_MI_STU_GC_X]flagSpecEd = 1) or the incident has an Action Code of '(5) Expulsion^'.
