All States/Provinces: ReportWorks Startup Time Update

The ReportWorks/SRP config files have now been modified to be called only through the re-initialization cycle. This improves the SRP startup times and avoids previously reported failures.

The State Validation tab that was introduced in SR 22.12.2 in error is now removed from the System Reports area of PowerSchool.

Ed-Fi IN 2: Identities Availability for Requesting the STN and SPN

With this State Reporting Release, the below-mentioned features have been implemented for requesting STNs and SPNs for students and staff respectively. To be able to use this functionality, Districts must have the Unique ID flag selected, which is available on the Data Exchange General Setup Page at the District Office.

• For Students:

  • A Request STN button has been made available on the General Demographics page, this enables the Admins to request the State_StudentNumber from the DOE. For this, the user must have full access to the General Demographics page.

  • For requesting the STN from the State, the student must have data in the below-mentioned fields:

    • First Name

    • Last Name

    • Gender

    • Race

    • State Reporting Language Code

    • Birth Date

  • The Student must not be excluded from State Reporting.

• For Staffs:

  • A Request SPN button has been made available on the Staff Information page, this enables the Admins to request the SPN from the DOE. For this, the user must have full access to the Staff Information page.

  • For requesting the SPN from the state, the staff must have data in the below-mentioned fields:

    • First Name

    • Last Name

    • Birth Date

    • Race

    • Gender

    • SSN

      DOE only needs the last four digits of the SSN, in scenarios if the Admins do not want to enter the whole SSN, please make sure the last four digits of the SSN are correct and the rest can be 00000 as well.

      
      

  • The Staff must not be excluded from Ed-Fi.

  • For a Staff, if the Staff Type is set as (2) Staff in the Staff Information page, then the prefs in the District Info page for the Staff Type 2 must be enabled.

IN DOE: Timeline Compliance Update

With this State Reporting Release, as per the updated DOE guidelines, a new value (09) Timeline missed, First Steps referral late has been added to the Timeline Compliance drop-down list.
