CGI Graduation Report

Overview

The CCGI Graduation Data Elements report is a California state-specific report designed to create a file of students who have graduated, including their graduation date and confirmation of graduation status. This report is used as applicable for the College Career Guidance Initiative (CCGI) submission package.

Purpose

This report serves as a supplemental data file for CCGI submission, providing essential graduation information including:

Confirmation of graduation status

Official graduation dates

CDS codes of graduating schools

Student identification for graduated students

Selection Criteria

Only include students with confirmed graduation status for the current academic year. Students must have:

School Completion Status = 100 (completed graduation requirements)

A valid exit/graduation date

Valid State Student ID (SSID)

Not excluded from state reporting

Eligibility

This report includes students who:

Are/were in grades 9-12

Have School Completion Status = 100 (completed all graduation requirements)

Have a valid exit date recorded

Have a valid State Student ID (SSID)

Are not excluded from state reporting

Report Input

Field	Description
Select Schools	Unique identifiers for schools to include in the report. Select schools using Ctrl+Click to choose multiple. Only schools not excluded from state reporting are available. This is a required field.
Select Students	List of students from the current selection feature. Use the Student Selection page to filter and select students for the report, typically those with graduation status or who completed all requirements. This is a required field.
SFTP connections	Select the SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) connection for uploading the report. The report uploads automatically to the selected SFTP server under the `/graduation/` directory after completion. This is a required field.

CDSCode	The County-District-School (CDS) code where the student graduated. This 14-character code combines the district number from system preferences and the school's state school number. HAS_GRADUATED	Indicator confirming the student graduated and met all requirements. This field always contains "Y" for Yes, as only confirmed graduates appear in this report. Valid values: Y (Yes).	N/A (Calculated - Always 'Y')
