CCGI Student File Report

Overview

The CCGI Student Data Elements report is a California state-specific report designed to generate a list of students with demographic and enrollment details required for College Career Guidance Initiative (CCGI) submission. This report is part of California's effort to provide comprehensive student data for college and career planning initiatives.

Purpose

This report serves as one of the core data files required for CCGI submission, providing essential student information, including:

  • Student identification and demographic information

  • Academic performance data (GPA)

  • Program eligibility indicators

  • Special population identifiers (Foster Youth, English Learners, Students with Disabilities, etc.)

  • Enrollment and contact information

Report Requirements

Important: Verify that all students have valid SSIDs (State Student ID Numbers) and grade levels before running the report.

This report includes students in grades 9-12 who meet the selection criteria.

Field

Description

Select Schools

Unique identifiers for set of schools for which to generate report content. Select the schools to include in the report. Multiple schools can be selected using Ctrl+Click. Only schools that are not excluded from state reporting will be available for selection. This is a required field.

Select Students

Use the Student Selection page to filter and select specific students (grades 9-12) to include in the report. This is a required field.

School Year

Select the school year for which to generate the CCGI student data. Choose from available year records for the current school. This is a required field.

GPA Method

Select the GPA calculation method for this report from the configured options (e.g., Weighted, Unweighted, College). This method will calculate student GPAs in the report. This is a required field.

GPA Type Display Text

Select the GPA Type display text for the report output. This labels the GPA type in the output file. Options include:

  • Weighted

  • Unweighted

  • College

  • Other

This is a required field.

SFTP connections

Select the SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) connection to upload the report file. The report uploads automatically to the selected SFTP server upon completion. This is a required field.
