California College Guidance Initiative (CCGI)
The California College Guidance Initiative is a statewide program ensuring every 6th–12th grade student in California accesses comprehensive college and career planning tools. Managed through CaliforniaColleges.edu, the state’s official platform, CCGI helps students explore careers, plan coursework, and apply to colleges and financial aid programs—all in one place. By integrating academic data and providing personalized guidance, CCGI streamlines the transition from K–12 to higher education and careers, closing gaps in access and opportunity for students across the state.
The CCGI Report files will be dropped directly into the folder path configured in the SFTP settings. This allows users to direct files into existing temporary or specific folders without the system generating additional directory layers.
All reports work together to create a complete CCGI submission package:

CCGI Student File Report - Core student demographic and enrollment data (Required)

Complete Submission Workflow:

Prepare data: Validate student SSIDs, grades, courses, and test scores

Overview
If your SIS uses sub-districts, you can run four CCGI reports for all schools in one go. You get a single file with data from every school that is not excluded from State Reporting.

There is no change in CCGI Course Catalog report and the CCGI Manifest File. They don't let you choose schools or sub-districts.
Before you begin

Sub-districts must be turned on for your district. For setup steps, see Set up Sub-Districts.

Make sure any school that shouldn't be reported is marked as excluded from State Reporting. Those schools won't be included.
Run a CCGI report for all schools

Go to [menu path to CCGI reports].

Select the report you want to run.

Select the [All Schools] checkbox. You don't need to choose a sub-district.

Enter the other report parameters as usual.

Submit the report and download the file when it's ready.
Note: Running a report for all schools processes more data, so it takes longer than running it for one sub-district. If you can, run large reports outside busy hours.
