Truancy nightly process update

You can now lock manually entered truancy records to prevent them from being overwritten by the nightly Texas Truancy autocode process. This enhancement preserves customized truancy data and provides more control over which records are automatically updated.

A new "Lock Record" checkbox is available on the Truancy page. When enabled:

• The record will be protected from automated updates during nightly processing

• Manual changes to truancy data will be preserved

• The record will remain unchanged until you choose to unlock it

This enhancement is especially beneficial for districts that need to maintain specific truancy information that has been manually adjusted or imported from third-party systems.

Note: When using APIs or data uploads to manage truancy records, apply the Lock Record flag only to rows marked as State Reportable. This ensures proper processing of your truancy data.
