Incident Management

Incident Management assists in accurately tracking, managing, and reporting school safety and disciplinary incident data, and is used to report all Discipline incidents in Texas districts and schools. The Incident Management system captures more detailed data than is necessary for state reporting as it may be used for local incidents as well as federal reporting for CRDC.

State-reportable incidents must be created at the school level or district level via Special Functions. Incident types, codes, and subcodes must be set up at the district level prior to creating discipline incidents.

Although Incident Management contains numerous fields for data entry, districts are only required to input data related to the following:

  • Participants
    • Offender
    • Victims – CRDC Harassment/Bullying
  • Behavior Codes
  • Action Codes
    • Duration Codes
    • Action Attributes, if needed for CRDC
      • E1725 Non Membership Discipline Restraint Indicator - read-only, calculated element.
  • Incident Elements
  • Location Codes
