PSSR-406927

Added IBC Background Check Cost (E3133) Field to UI.

A new field, IBC Background Check Cost (E3133), has been added under the IBC Exam Fee section to capture the cost associated with fingerprinting or criminal history review for Industry-Based Certifications.

Details:

• Accepts values between 0.00 and 700.00

• Available as a column after IBC Exam Fee

• Field is Visible and editable starting June 1, 2025

Added new tab Full-Time Hybrid Virtual Program Participation under student programs.

A new tab titled Full-Time Hybrid Program has been added to the Student Program page to support reporting for the 2025–26 school year.

Field Added:

• Full-Time Hybrid Virtual Program Participation (E3131)
  Allows users to capture student participation in hybrid or virtual programs.

E3131 Full-Time Hybrid Virtual Program Participation Includes:

• Begin Date and End Date (date pickers)

• Dropdown with values:

  • 01 – Full-Time Hybrid Program Participation

  • 02 – Full-Time Virtual Program Participation

• Exclude from PEIMS dropdown

Addition of New Role ID – Teacher Resident

A new StaffClassification value (088 – Teacher Resident) has been added to support PEIMS reporting for the 2025–26 school year.

• Available in:

  • Sections > Teacher – Section Lead > Actions

  • Select Staff > Compliance > Staff Responsibility > Role ID

• When selected, users must assign the Class Observer role.

• The system will create a Staff Responsibility record similar to the existing Class Observer role.

• This role will be included in the nightly Staff Responsibility creation process.

Addition of PK Child of LEA Classroom Teacher Field for PEIMS 25–26

A new field, PK Child of LEA Classroom Teacher, has been added to the PEIMS General page for the 2025–26 school year. This field appears after the Star of Texas Indicator and allows users to indicate whether a student qualifies for free public prekindergarten based on being the child of a classroom teacher.

Dropdown Options:

• Yes (1): The student is the child of a classroom teacher.

• No (0): The student is not the child of a classroom teacher.

Addition of TRA Staff Data Elements for PEIMS Fall 2026 Submission

Two new fields have been added under Compliance > Texas Staff Information to support TRA allotment reporting for the PEIMS Fall 2026 submission:

• Years of TRA Teaching Experience (E3129):
  Captures the number of verifiable years of classroom teaching experience.

• LEA Determined TRA Eligibility (E3130):
  Indicates whether the teacher meets TRA eligibility criteria as determined by the LEA.

These fields are positioned below the existing Years of Prior Teaching Experience (E1377) field in the staff profile.

Fixed Campus of Assignment Default Issue in Incident Actions

Resolved an issue where the Campus of Assignment field in Incident Actions defaulted to the last school in the dropdown list and could not be changed or cleared. The field now behaves as expected—allowing users to select or leave it blank as needed.

Resolved issue where users encountered a validation error due to missing Location Code 00 during incident creation. Code 00 is now available for selection as expected.

PSSR-408225

New Dropdowns for Truant and Chronic Absenteeism in At-Risk Program

The Truant and Chronic Absenteeism fields have been added to the following locations:

• Student Program > At-Risk Page

• Compliance > At-Risk Override Page

These fields are implemented as dropdowns with manual selection only—no auto-update functionality is currently available.

• Users can mark a student as Truant or Chronically Absent by selecting "Yes" from the respective dropdown.

• On the At-Risk Override Page, selecting the checkbox will mark the student as At-Risk, even if the dropdown value on the Student Program page is blank or set to "No".
