Attendance Recovery

The attendance recovery page provides editable override fields for Minutes Attended and Number of Recovery Days. You can manually adjust these values as needed, while the calculated fields remain read-only and will default unless an override is provided. The Attendance Recovery page now displays Minutes Attended (Override) (editable), and Number of Recovery Days (Override) (editable) in the specified order. Only the override fields are user-editable, accepting only numeric input and disallowing negative numbers.

Navigation: Select Student > Compliance > Attendance Recovery

For schools using PowerSchool to configure and manage Attendance Recovery (AR), designating the Attendance Recovery–exclusive school as a remote or summer school is no longer mandatory. The Attendance Recovery and Expanded Learning Indicator checkboxes on the school setup page are now always visible, regardless of school type.

This allows you to configure Attendance Recovery at non-summer schools and enroll students directly into AR sections without creating a separate school enrollment record.
