This report creates a Student Program - Section 504 for students who are indicated as Section 504 participants during the 2026-2027 School Year.
DO NOT run this function if you are currently tracking Section 504 programs in Student Programs.

To use your current student program from the District Office, select District Management > Student Programs > and rename your program to Section 504.

Edit your Section 504 programs if you are not using the appropriate Start and End dates for the 2026-2027 school year.

Republish your Student Programs.
Report Setup Requirements
How Students are selected for the report for conversion:

The student's school is not excluded from state reporting.

The student is not excluded from state reporting.

The student has an enrollment record during the 2026-2027 School Year where Section 504 is set to Yes.

Section 504 is only submitted by Public School Districts; Choice School do not need to run this function.
Running the report:

Preview Mode - The report can be run in Preview Mode showing the students who are Section 504 participants. This process can be run multiple times.

Update Mode - The report will create Section 504 programs for the students. This process can only be run once.

After running the update process restart your PowerSchool Application.

After running the update process republish your Student Programs.
Running in Update Mode is an irreversible process!
Section 504 Reporting:

The current Section 504 field will remain on the WISEdata page and edit Previous Enrollment but it will NOT be used for publishing.

Starting with the 26.8.2.0 State Reporting release, Section 504 programs will only be published from Student Programs - Section 504.

The publishing of Section 504 Programs prior to the 2026-2027 School Year is not changed. They will still publish from Student Enrollments.
