Performance Audit of TX Functions

  1. The below functions have been modified to not use cursors where they are not required and use 'select into' to directly store the return values in variables. Hence avoiding unnecessary loops.
    Updated Packages name:



  2. Function get_student_dcid has been removed from the below packages. It has been added to TX_PEIMS_COMMON package.



  3. TX_VERIFICATION_COMMON_PACKAGE has been removed because it is not being used anywhere.


Student Graduation Information Record Updates

The Student Graduation Information page is updated with a new column+,+ E3089_DIST_LEVEL_ACH_GRAD, in the S_TX_STU_X table. The new field is placed above E1542 FHSP Distinguished Level Graduate field. The new data element, E3089_DIST_LEVEL_ACH_GRAD, is added for the 2024-2025 school year.


UI Updates for Student Compliance Menu pages

The pages in the District Management > Compliance fly out, using the enhanced UI, and in District Setup > TX District Management using the legacy UI are updated with the standard success messaging for updated and deleted records. Additionally the records have been added as tabs when any of the pages are selected from the menu for ease of navigation between records.

The TX Minutes by Track page is updated in the School Calendar with a breadcrumb in the enhanced UI for ease of navigation back to the Calendar Setup page.


Updates to Schools/School Info Page

The Schools/School Info page is updated to remove validation from the field "School is the owner of this TEA CDC Number." This update enables modifications to the Schools/School Info page even when the "TEDSSchoolName" field is pre-populated with the school name.
