Grades Publishing Update

Grades publishing has been updated to support a configurable final-grade setup using the CRDC Final Grades configuration, instead of relying on hard‑coded store codes. This ensures that Trimester grades (e.g., T1, T2, T3) and any other final grade store configuration are published, provided they are included in the school’s CRDC Final Grades setup. Schools using Semester final grade codes continue to publish as expected.

  1. Updated Business Rule for publishing grades:

    • If the CRDC Final Grades setup is blank for a school and year:

      • The system defaults to S1 and S2, which matches the prior behavior.

    • If the CRDC Final Grades setup is not blank:

      • The system uses the configured CRDC Final Grades list as an override to determine which store codes to treat as final grades when publishing.

    • This behavior aligns with how the Legacy SIF Agent was designed (where customers could configure the list of store codes to publish, defaulting to S1/S2 but allowing additional codes such as Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, S1, S2, Y1, etc.).

  2. Section / Term Matching

    • The section term must match the Final Grade (FG) term, and

    • The FG code must match the store code (per existing Middle School configuration patterns).

SIF Unity: Student Participation Update

Student Participation version 1.7
Fixed an issue where Student Participation (Student Programs) records were being unintentionally deleted after a student was transferred out of one school and re‑enrolled in another. The DCF process will now correctly preserve prior school participation records, ensuring accurate program history and preventing data loss for October 1 Consolidated reporting. Manual republishing is no longer required.

Student Personal Deletion Now Removes Student Contact Personal

Fixed an issue where deleting Student Personal data from the Data Exchange Publishing screen did not remove the related Student Contact Personal records for no‑show students. All associated Student Personal data, including Student Contact Personal, is now removed as expected when the user deletes the Student Personal record. Existing functionality and other delete operations remain unchanged.
