All States/Provinces: Physical Restraint/Time Out Table Displays Extraneous Column in View Only

When a user has view only access, the Physical Restraint/Time Out table was displaying a blank column to the far right of the records overview page. This issue has been corrected and now the extraneous column will no longer display.

New Data Validation Rule - MDI0006de

OnSIS Data Validation Report: Version 4.1

MDI0006(d) and MDI0006(e) have been combined into one rule MDI0006de, and added to the Data Validation Report.

MDI0006de: Community Involvement Hours should be greater than 40, or Community Involvement Hours Waived flag or Mature Flag must be selected on School Enrolment if the Diploma granted is OSSD or OSSD/SHSM or OSSD/FAST or OSSD/FAST/SHSM.

OnSIS Data Validation Report: Version 4.1

The following OnSIS rules have been added to the Data Validation Report:

MDI0040: Diploma types OSSD/OYAP-FAST (5) or OSSD/SHSM/OYAP-FAST (6) are not applicable for students enrolled in ECPP/CTEP programs.

MDI0039: Diploma type of OSSD/OYAP-FAST or OSSD/SHSM/OYAP-FAST is not applicable to Private Schools.

The following rules have been updated to include diploma types: 5-OSSD/OYAP-FAST and 6-OSSD/SHSM/OYAP-FAST.

MDI0011: If Ontario Scholar Flag is selected and Diploma/Certificate is entered, Diploma must be equal to OSSD, OSSD2, SSGD, OSSD/SHSM, OSSD/ OYAP-FAST or OSSD/SHSM/FAST.

MDI0005: If Diploma is OSSD or OSSD/SHSM, OSSD/ OYAP-FAST  or OSSD/SHSM/ OYAP-FAST, then Literacy Status must be Successful in English, Successful in French, Adjudication or OLC/CCL or NA (if student is born on or before 1985 or the Diploma/Certificate Date is greater than September 5, 2019 and less than September 5, 2022).

OnSIS Night and ECPP submissions are enhanced with a new tag COMM_INV_ACCU_HRS_WAIVED_FLAG under the STUDENT_SCHOOL_ENROLMENT segment. This supports reporting of students waived from completing community involvement hours based on the principal’s decision.

OnSIS Secondary School Submission: Version 22.0

The following validation rules have been added to the Validate XML report feature:

MOF0002: If All Requirements Met Date is entered, then the student must have at least 8 co-operative credits in skilled trades and 1 RTA reported.

MOF0005: If OYAP-FAST Participant is true under School Enrolment/School Enrolment (Non-Enrolled Student), then the Number of cooperative education credits in skilled trades must be between 0 and 20.

MDI0037: If OSSD/OYAP-FAST is awarded, then the student should have an OYAP-FAST Program record, in the current or any previous submission period, with the All Requirements Met Date less than or equal to the Diploma Date of Issuance.

MDI0038: If diploma awarded is OSSD/SHSM/OYAP-FAST, then the student should have a SHSM Program record, in the current or any previous submission period, with the All Requirements Met Date less than or equal to the Diploma Date of Issuance AND an OYAP-FAST Program record, in the current or any previous submission period, with the All Requirements Met Date less than or equal to the Diploma Date of Issuance.

OnSIS Secondary - Update Logic for ESL Second Language Program

OnSIS Secondary School Submission: Version 22.0

OnSIS Secondary submissions have been updated to improve ESL reporting within the Second Language segment. Students enrolled in an ESL/ELD program can now be reported even if they are not taking an ESL/ELD course. The segment is generated based on the student’s program enrollment status as of the count date.

OnSIS Secondary School Submission: Version 22.0

The validation logic now supports two additional diploma types: OSSD/OYAP-FAST and OSSD/SHSM/OYAP-FAST. Students with these diplomas and a reported mobility type other than “Student has received OSSD or equivalent” or “Deceased” will now correctly trigger error MDI0028.

OSSD Diploma Date Calculation - Support the Community Involvement Hours Waived Flag

OSSD Diploma Date Calculations: Version 2.8

The report has been updated to support the Community Involvement Hours Waived flag. When this flag is selected and no adjusted hours are recorded, the Community Involvement Hours requirement is considered waived, and the diploma date is calculated based on the completion of all other requirements. Otherwise, students must meet the Community Involvement Hours requirement for the diploma date to be calculated.

Student Status Sheet - Reporting OYAP-FAST program

Ontario Student Status Report: Version 10.5

The Student Status Sheet has been enhanced to support tracking of the OYAP-FAST program. A new field, “OF Met Date”, has been introduced and is now displayed on the report. Additionally, the OYAP-FAST program and status (Completed or In Progress) are now displayed in the Awards/Special Programs section when the program is selected on the run page.
