The minimum supported version on PowerSchool SIS State/Provincial Reporting installer is updated and can now be installed on PowerSchool SIS 25.1 or later. For details refer to PowerSchool SIS – Supported PowerSchool Versions.

Elementary Progress Reports Updates

Elementary Progress Report (1-6) - Gradebook: Version 5.7

Elementary Progress Report (7-8) - Gradebook: Version 5.4

The footer of the Elementary Progress Reports has been enhanced to accurately reflect the number of pages included in the report output:

• When only one page is selected for inclusion, the footer now displays: Page 1 of 1

• When both pages are selected, the footer displays: Page 1 of 2 on the first page, Page 2 of 2 on the second page.

This update ensures clear and accurate pagination based on user selection.

Enrolment Fields Report -High Credit FTE Calculation Updated

Enrolment Fields Report: Version 5.6

In alignment with Ministry guidelines, “students entering an Ontario high school at age 16 with equivalent credits begin their ‘first four consecutive years of secondary school’ from their initial year in the Ontario high school”.

The Enrolment Fields Report has been updated as follows:
Students who entered Grade 9 outside Ontario are now excluded from the High Credits and High Credit FTE calculations if their Date Entered Grade 9 Outside Ontario is less than four years prior to the report’s effective date. For these students, both fields are set to zero.

OnSIS Elementary and Secondary Validate XML feature has been updated to include the following rules for Educator Validation:

• MSED044: If Teaching/Non-Teaching flag = Non-Teaching, then Instructional Type must have a value.

• MSED072: If educator is indicated with a Teaching/Non-Teaching value equal to “Not Applicable (N/A)”, Leave or Withdrawal Type Code must have a value.

OnSIS Elementary School Submission: Version 18.3

OnSIS Elementary Validate XML has been updated by adding the following rule for Educator Validation:

MSED023: If "Teaching/ Non Teaching" = "T - Teaching", record in "Assigned Subject Information" or in "Class Information" is required.

The following student validation rules have been added to the OnSIS XML validations:

• MDI0004: Diploma = SSGD, OSSD, OSSD/SHSM or OSSD2 but Grade is less than 12

• MDI0014: If Grade = 12 and Enrolment End Date is not null (has a value) and Special Education Flag is not True, then student should have received, in the current or any other submission period, an OSSD, OSSD2, SSGD, or OSSD/SHSM Diploma

• MDI0028A: Student with transfer/ retirement mobility type of 61 should have OSSD or equivalent

• MDI0030A: Student with transfer/ retirement mobility type of 63 should have CofA

• MED0008: Special Education data existed from the previous submission but does not exist in this submission

• 12 - Online Learning through provincial LMS

Secondary Report Card- ESL/ELD/IEP Flag Grade Scale Update

Secondary Report Cards - GradeBook: Version 8.5

The ESL-ELD-IEP flags on the secondary report card have been updated to support new grade scale values ‘ES’ and ‘ESandI’. The report now supports both the legacy and new Grade Scale setups, ensuring users on the legacy setup are not affected.
