WISE 2026-2027: Courses and Grades Resources Descriptors Alignment

To align with Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) reporting specifications for the 2026–2027 school year, PowerSchool State Reporting has updated descriptor mappings for Courses, Sections, Grades, Student Academic Records, and Course Transcripts resources.

These updates ensure data is accurately transmitted without 400 publishing errors while maintaining full backward compatibility for 2025–2026 school year data submissions.

• SY 2026–2027: Applied conditional logic to exclude CareerPathwayDescriptor from publishing under CourseOffering for SY 2026–2027, preventing publishing failures caused by unmapped values.

WISE 2026-2027: Student School Association Update

An update has been made to the Wisconsin Ed-Fi publishing rules (EDFI_WI_7 DEX profile) to ensure accurate calculation and reporting of student Full-Time Equivalency (FTE) values to the Wisconsin Ed-Fi ODS.

What Changed

Previously, when the FTE code 50K4n was selected on the Pupil Count Student Information page (Compliance > Pupil Count), the system published a FullTimeEquivalency value of 0.5 in the StudentSchoolAssociations Ed-Fi payload.

The mapping has been updated so that selecting 50K4n now publishes 0.6 as the FullTimeEquivalency value across current enrollments, previous enrollments, and selection rules.

Note: All other FTE code-to-value mappings remain unchanged, and this change is affects WISE data publishing only.
