DEX 26-27: Student School Associations Grade Level Update

The publishing for Student School Association resource is updated for the 2026-2027 school year.

The Wisconsin DPI updated their Ed-Fi ODS for 2026–2027 to require descriptive grade level values (e.g., "Eleventh grade") with a proper namespace, replacing the previously accepted numeric codes (e.g., "11"). This caused publishing failures for Enrollments and Demographics and districts received 400 Data Validation Failed errors when publishing Demographic Records (StudentSchoolAssociations).

Additionally, the fix introduces a Grade Level code set mapping that translates PowerSchool local grade codes to the updated Wisconsin Ed-Fi grade level descriptors. Administrators can view and override these mappings as needed. If a grade level mapping is not configured, a clear dependency message — "Missing codeset mapping for Grade Level" — displays on the dashboard.

Additionally, a framework alignment fix was applied to resolve an Oracle error (ORA-01428: argument '0' is out of range) that caused StudentSchoolAssociations publishing failures related to re-enrollment key processing specific to Wisconsin.

Publishing for the 2025–2026 school year is not impacted by these changes.
