Hearing Screenings Report: Version 1.1

Hearing Screenings report is updated and now includes Start Date and End Date filters, allowing users to limit results to a specific date range. These new date fields behave consistently with the existing date filters in the Vision, Vital, and Oral Screenings reports, ensuring a familiar and predictable experience across all health screening reports.

The Student Incident Profile Report is updated to allow users to control the grouping of students, incidents, or none when generating the report output.

The Page Break option appears under the Order Report By option, and the Page Break options are - Student, Incident, and None.

The Reason Exited column in Data Viewer of the Special Education Programs (Public Only) download displays data based on records published by third-party vendors. It pulls data from the specialEducationReasonExitedDescriptor of the studentSpecialEducationProgramAssociations resource.

*D*istricts must run the Special Education Programs (Public Only) download to see the data in the Reason Exited column. The downloaded data must include the Exit Date to save the Reason Exited.

Ed-Fi Framework: New Publish Selection Option for Staff

Added a Publish Selection option for all staff resources on the DEX Dashboard, consistent with the existing student Publish Selection feature. Users can now choose a subset of staff on the start page and run a publish that only processes the selected staff records.

Ed-Fi Framework: Preserve Quotes in Authentication Key and Secret

Resolved an issue where the Ed-Fi Authentication Key and Secret fields incorrectly converted single and double quotes to HTML entities when saved. This caused connection tests to fail. The fields now retain quote characters exactly as entered so authentication continues to work as expected after saving.

The following updates are made:

• Both the PI-1563 Pupil Count and the PI-1563 Pupil Count Detail reports lists all non-resident and resident reductions, according to the current categories.

• The student Pupil Count Student Information (PI-1563) page has following values moved to the Obsolete section of the list on the Program Schedule field:

  • 50K4 - 437 Hours K4 With Outreach

  • 60K4 - 524.5 Hours K4 With Outreach

• The student Pupil Count Validation (PI-1563 Validation Tool) page has the following updates:

  • The following Program Schedule (KG and K4 Only) values are updated:

    • K4 (437 Hours) is renamed to Four year-old Kindergarten (437 hours).

    • K4 (524.5 Hours) is moved to the Obsolete section of the list

  • The following Non-Resident Reduction Status values have removed the ‘(For Pilot Districts Only 22/23)’ text:

    • Tuition by parent

    • Homeschool, enrolled in 1-2 courses

    • Children’s Hospital

    • Juvenile facility/Jail

  • The following Resident Reduction Status values have removed the ‘(For Pilot Districts Only 22/23)’ text:

    • Homeschool, enrolled in 1-2 courses

    • Private school, enrolled in 1-2 courses

  • The Resident Reduction Status ‘Less Than Full Time’ value is moved to the ‘2022-2023 and prior School Years’ section of the list.

• The student School Enrollment Previous Enrollment (PI-1563) section has the the following updates:

  • The Program Schedule has the following values moved to the Obsolete section of the list:

    • 50K4 - 437 Hours K4 With Outreach

    • 60K4 - 524.5 Hours K4 With Outreach

  • The Resident Reduction value of ‘R-PRIVATE - Private school, enrolled in 1-2 courses)’ has the parenthesis removed from the wording.
