The minimum supported version on PowerSchool SIS State/Provincial Reporting installer is updated and can now be installed on PowerSchool SIS 25.1 or later. For details refer to PowerSchool SIS – Supported PowerSchool Versions.

PSSR-401879

Ed-Fi - Added new Student Program Association for Section 504 Placement

A new program, Section 504 Services, has been added to the Ed-Fi implementation for VT. This program will be published under the Programs section of the Organization Info resource category at the district level.

In alignment with this, a corresponding Student Program Associations resource will be published at the student level within the Student Programs resource category. This will occur when the Section 504 Services checkbox is marked as “Yes” either on the student’s Vermont Support Services tab or on the Enrollment page.

Note: To ensure these changes are reflected correctly, districts will need to first run a Publish Changes for the Organization Info Resource category first, and then a Publish Changes for Student Programs Resource category after applying this release.

PSSR-397785

Ed-Fi : Invalid School ID dependency for Student Demographics

A fix has been implemented to ensure that Demographics resources publish successfully for students with multiple enrollments in the same school year, where the first enrollment is excluded from state reporting, an override school is entered, and the second enrollment is in the override school.

Previously, records from Student Demographics were stuck due to a dependency on an Invalid School ID, while other categories published successfully. This issue has been resolved, and publishing now proceeds as expected in these scenarios.

Ed-Fi: Updates to Student Enrollments - Responsible school

A data mapping issue has been resolved where Responsible School details were not fetched from the S_VT_STU_AOE_C table when the ADM data source was set to State Tabs on the District Info page.

The Responsible School Ed-Fi resource has been updated to follow this logic:

• When the ADM data source has been set to State Tabs, the resource has referenced the S_VT_STU_AOE_C table. (Newly corrected logic)

• When the ADM data source has been set to Enrollment Pages, the resource has continued to reference the S_VT_REN_X table. (Existing logic)

Note: For accurate data publishing, districts using State Tabs as the ADM source must ensure that an AOE Census Record has been created with the ADM Start Date populated for each enrollment.

PSSR-394638

Ed-Fi Teacher Sections Resource - Update to Classroom Position Descriptor Mapping Based on RoleID

The system has been updated to map the classroomPositionDescriptor based on the RoleID defined in the [SectionTeacher] table. This enhancement ensures accurate publishing of teacher roles to the state ODS.

The mapping rules have been defined as follows - For each Reference Code, the corresponding value is published as the classroomPositionDescriptor

• Reference Code 10 - Teacher of Record

• Reference Code 20 - Co-Teacher of Record

• Reference Code 30 - Other Contributing Professional

• Reference Code 40 - Instructor, Not Credit Awarding

• Reference Code 50 - Special Educator, Credit Awarding

• Reference Code 60 - Special Educator, Not Credit Awarding

• No Reference Code Present - Other Contributing Professional (default behavior)

Note: After applying this release, districts should ensure that every teaching or co-teaching role has a Reference Code assigned before publishing Teacher Sections. This can be verified and updated by accessing User Roles - Co-Teaching in the District Office.

PSSR-397601

Ed-Fi - DiagnosticStatement element removed from Grades Resource

The DiagnosticStatement element has been removed from the Grades resource. This field, which was sourced from teacher comments, is not required by the VT DOE and has been causing issues when comments included HTML tags.
