Skip Level Logic has been implemented on the below-mentioned criteria:

ENRL Elements:

• Overall Student Enrollment – English Learners (EL) Equals zero – Skip the following:

  • ENRL-2a: Enrollment of English Learners (EL) - All EL Students

  • ENRL-2b: Enrollment of English Learners (EL) - EL Students in Programs

• Overall Student Enrollment - Disabilities (IDEA) Equals zero – Skip the following:

  • ENRL-3a: Enrollment of Students with Disabilities – IDEA

• Overall Student Enrollment - Disabilities (Section 504 Only) equals zero – Skip the following:

  • ENRL-3b: Enrollment of Students with Disabilities – Section 504 Only

PENR Elements:

• If PENR-1: Gifted and Talented Programs Indicator = “No” skip PENR-2: Gifted and Talented Student Enrollment.

Permission Levels:

Group Default: The user inherits the default permissions assigned to other members of the group.

No Access: The user does not see the DEX page options.

Read-Only: The user can view the DEX pages, navigate to them, and review. However, they cannot modify the data.

Edit: The user has full access to all the DEX pages, including the ability to republish and delete records.

VT Ed-Fi - Staff School records Udpate

Fixed an issue where records tied to excluded Place of Service entries were erroneously included in the dependency for Staff Assignment. This resulted in Staff School records being flagged as dependent even when the associated Place of Service records were marked as excluded from state reporting. The expected behavior is now correctly implemented, ensuring that Staff School records do not publish if they are excluded.

A code set mapping for Grade Type Descriptor was added. Districts will now be able to map Stored Grades to the Grade type they wanted to publish to the State via Ed-Fi.

VT Ed-Fi : Update to Staff Resources - Removal of EMPORGID Dependency

The check that SIS was making on a Staff's EMPORGID has been removed. This means no more dependency will be shown, and you'll be able to submit whatever value is selected on the Staff Place of Service page against an EMPORGID. You can rely on the error messages from the ODS to correct your data

PSSR-380618

VT: New Pre K Courses Added

The State of Vermont has updated their PreK (PK) IDs as part of their quarterly review. Certain codes have been deprecated and new ones added. The corresponding changes have been made in PowerSchool SIS. New PreK course codes have been added, and although the old codes will remain in the Student Information System (SIS), users must ensure they use the new codes for any new PreK courses.

These codes map to the participation status descriptors in student PreK programs via EdFi.
